After spending nearly a decade in prison, the Supreme Court of India has ruled that the last five of the seven Kandhamal Christians, Bhaskar Sunamajhi, Munda Badmajhi, Durjo Sunamajhi, Sanatan Badamajhi and Budhadeb Nayak, be released on bail. The five men were among seven men accused of the murder of a Hindu swami in 2008, despite local Maoists reportedly taking responsibility for the murder, and two police officers also admitting that the charges were false.

Please pray they will be cleared of these charges. At this time it is not known when their appeal hearing will be held.
