A. Tach

A. Tach is a Hmong Christian from the Kon Tum Province. He was arrested in April 2012 for exercising his right to freedom of religious expression. He was tried in May 2013 and sentenced to 11 years imprisonment, under Article 87 of the 1999 Penal Code, for ‘undermining the unity policy’. He is last reported detained in Gia Lai Province.

Byuk

Byuk is a Hmong Christian. He was born in 1945. He was arrested in May 2012, and sentenced in 2013 to eight years imprisonment under Article 87 for ‘undermining the unity policy’ of the 1999 Penal Code.
He is reportedly detained in Many Yang Prison Camp, Gia Lai Province.

Siu Koch

Siu Koch (33), is a Hmong Christian. He was arrested in July 2009, and sentenced in January 2010 to nine years imprisonment, with three years house arrest on release, under Article 87 for ‘undermining the unity policy’, of the 1999 Penal Code.
He is last reported detained at Gia Lai Prison Camp. He is due to be released in July 2018

Siu Nheo

Siu Nheo, (63), is a Hmong Christian. He was arrested in August 2010, and tried in April 2011. He was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment, with three years house arrest on release. He was convicted under Article 87 of the 1999 Penal Code, for ‘undermining the unity policy’.
He was last reported detained at Gia Lai Prison Camp, and is due to be released in August 2020.
